At Birchfield, we are very proud of the wide range of support sessions that are available to pupils from the Pre-Prep department upwards. Support sessions may focus upon strategies to develop a specific area of skill or more general learning support, either as a small group or one to one. In addition, the school timetables a number of sessions aimed at gifted learners from reading to mathematics, as appropriate. Please contact us for more information.
In September 2021, the Star Programme was launched at Birchfield School offering a comprehensive and personalised teaching and learning programme for pupils with Special Educational Needs. With excellent resources and specialist staff, pupils joining the programme will benefit from a modified curriculum with a multi-sensory approach.
